Meet Geri Payne! She has successfully graduated from the Community Transition Program. She enrolled into our services while inpatient at St. Luke’s Behavioral Health.
With the help of our Transition Partners, Geri has happily found her own apartment using a scattered site housing voucher. She has moved in and is adapting to living independently. She is successfully budgeting her SSI income, and using food stamp benefits to supplement her income. She receives healthy supports from her children and actively participates in their lives.
Geri has recommitted to her art work and can often be found painting on canvass in her apartment. She maintains contact with her clinical team and takes her medications regularly. She was connected to outpatient counseling and PSA Art Awakenings to further her recovery journey.
