Outpatient Clinics
MARC Community Resources, Inc’s Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic provides individual, and group counseling and psycho-education that may vary in level of intensity. The outpatient program addresses a variety of needs including, but not limited to: situational stressors, family relations, interpersonal relationships, mental health issues, life span issues, psychiatric illnesses, addictions, and the needs of victims of abuse, domestic violence or other trauma. Marc Center is devoted to providing quality care to clients on an individual basis. Support is provided within a variety of areas, such as: individual support, social support, living skills, and family support. Medication Management is available through a nurse practitioner as medically indicated.
In addition to Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), counseling services include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR). DBT is considered best practice for people with Borderline Personality Disorder and includes weekly individual therapy, weekly skills training groups, phone coaching as needed and weekly therapists’ consultation meetings.
