Family Support Services

The Family Support Program offers supports and services to family members who have a loved one that has a Serious Mental Illness designation and are enrolled with Mercy Maricopa Integrated Care. Our employees can assist you with navigating the Adult Behavioral Health System, as they also have lived experience as a family member understanding the system. The family support provider can assist the family in discovering their strengths while learning to support their loved one’s goals.

Family Support Services also offers educational tools with developing a support plan, problem solving and one on one family support and mentoring. The family support provider assists the family during important meetings regarding their loved ones behavioral health care needs and services through support and modeling advocacy skills.

Family Psychoeducation classes are an Evidenced Based Practice that individuals and Family members can enroll in, to assist them with understanding the behavioral health system.

Individuals who would like to become enrolled in this service need to be enrolled in the Regional Behavioral Health Authority in Maricopa County with an SMI determination, be at least 18 years of age and can either be Title 19 or Non-Title 19 eligible. Call today and see how we can assist you.
